2024 AUTEL NEW RELEASE MX900, FROM 30 TO 3000+ ACTIVE TESTS
What Is Bi-directional Control?
Bidirectional Control is a generic term used to describe sending and receiving information between one device and another. The bidirectional scan tool sends information to, and receives information from, vehicle control modules.
Some manufacturers refer to bidirectional controls as functional tests, actuator tests, inspection tests, system tests or the like.
Why You Need a Bi-directional Scanner: Greatly Reduce Diagnostic Time
Some repair would be impossible without the bi-directional control capacity. For example: consider a no-start situation:
- You’ve connected a f-uel pressure gauge, cycled the ke-y and cranked the engine, but no f-uel pressure was measured. You don’t know if the problem is a component, a circuit or command-related.
- At this point, you can use this bidirectional scan tool to command the f-uel pump on. If the fu-el pressure gauge now shows proper f-uel pressure, you’d know the f-uel pump circuit and pump are functioning properly.
- Then, you get the test result effortlessly: this may be caused by a faulty input sensor, low o-il pressure or some other factor.
- The process described above only took < 5 minutes. If you had to manually test the f-uel pump circuit, it would take 3X times as long!
Why Autel Scanner MX900 is Superior to Others: Complete Active Test Options
3000+ Test Options: Unlike other aftermarket bidirectional scan tools which are limited or lack of essential OE-specific tests, this 2024-new Autel scanner MX900 can list 3000+ active tests per manufacturer. Multiply this by the number of vehicle manufacturers and you can see that this bidirectional scan tool scan tool’s potential power is incredible!
When you pick up this Autel MX900, you’ll be excited to find it has the complete test menu to ac-tivate actuators, components, relays, injectors and even coils: “Radiator Fan, Interior/Exterior Lights, Sound Horn, Injector Buz, Cycle A/C, Windows/Mirrors, Camera/Throttle, Inlet & Outlet Valve, Left Clutch Elec.
